In this video, I’m trying to do some slow hobbies first so I can mentally prepare for the chaos later—because I’m hosting a birthday gathering (25–30 people, which is… a lot for my socially anxious self). I start in my usual spot with my journals and planners: my personal agenda, business agenda, and my memory keeping journal. I write my to-do list, do a daily recap, and fill in planner blanks so nothing gets lost in the busyness. It’s a simple reminder that “relaxing on paper” can be a real reset when life feels loud. From there, I bring in a few cozy home rituals: feeding Romper (with his little snood to keep his ears out of his food), refreshing a flower arrangement with tulips and purple-yellow filler blooms, and doing a quick Nespresso pod restock/mini haul. Then I lock in on a big analog project—hand-stamping and wax-sealing envelopes for my Sunny Mail Club (Soft Pages). It’s time-consuming, but I want the mail to feel luxurious, worth it, and usable for journaling. The morning is calm and intentional… until I’m suddenly running behind, painting my nails, getting ready, and transforming into “event Amy” for the winery birthday celebration.
