In this video I’m giving my living room a cozy Christmas makeover for 2025, and I’m taking you along for all of it—the real-life wins and the little decorating “nightmares” too. With new furniture in this space, my usual tree spot just didn’t work anymore, so I had to move the main Christmas tree to a new corner and bring in a small tree by the entry for that twinkle I love when I walk in the door. I also pulled out my old DIY blanket ladder (an oldie but a goodie) to balance the room and add height and warmth with blankets. I style the TV console now that our TV is mounted (I finally convinced the hubby—now he takes credit, of course), and I share a super affordable set of remote LED candles that I’m honestly obsessed with. Then I move onto the mantel with a new cedar garland, lights, and a few pieces I’ve loved for years—plus some whimsical Walmart finds that surprised me in the best way. I finish everything off with simple coffee table styling, cozy pillows (including my dark green velvet Amazon covers), and the sweetest little details—like baby’s breath in the tree for that snowy look, and a sentimental ornament that makes my heart melt every year.
