In today’s video, I’m continuing my fall decorating and starting right in my entryway on the table you can see from the front door. If you’ve been around for a while, you know I’ve struggled with styling this piece because it originally had three shelves that were so close together that everything could start to feel a little cluttered. But I made the happiest discovery while dusting: that middle shelf is removable. Taking it out gave the whole table room to breathe, and it instantly opened up so many more styling possibilities without needing to replace a table that’s still in great condition. From there, I create a cozy, moody fall moment using a mix of budget-friendly finds and things I already own. I use a beautiful Michaels pot (a clearance score), seasonal artwork in my frame, and Michaels stems to keep my color palette cohesive with other rooms in my home. On the bottom shelf, I style my favorite wooden dough bowl with pumpkins, acorns, and a little sparkle (yes, I’m team pears for fall), then add a woven tray in the back for extra texture and height. As a bonus, I also spruce up my upstairs hallway table with an IKEA lantern, fall ribbon, and soft sage green pumpkins to tie into other colors happening throughout my home.
