In this video I’m reviewing two very different “utility” cables: the Celest(e) Ruyi Pro (USB‑C) and the Kinera Mia modular IEM cable. Big thanks to Kinera for sending them in, but everything you hear is my own opinion. I keep the Ruyi Pro section brief because I’ve already covered the 3.5mm version before, so here I focus on what’s different with the Pro: it’s USB‑C only, aimed at phones and Type‑C laptops, and it has inline controls plus a mic. I also do a quick mic test so you can hear how it sounds in a quiet environment. For the Kinera Mia, I go deeper because this is the “versatile” one. You’re getting a modular system with 3.5 and 4.4 terminations, and even modular IEM connectors (2‑pin and MMCX) that screw in/out, which I personally like because it doesn’t feel easy to break. The cable itself is supple out of the box, wraps well, doesn’t kink easily, and despite being an 8‑core it isn’t annoyingly thick or heavy for daily use. At $132 it’s expensive, but for a cable that covers 3.5/4.4 plus 2‑pin/MMCX in one, I still think it’s worth it for the price.
