But then I found Salad, and it’s a totally different angle. Salad is a simple app that uses your GPU (and a network of other people’s GPUs) to mine crypto and then kicks a small portion back to you. The big selling point is convenience: you click a button, let it run when you’re not using your PC, and you watch the balance slowly climb. I also break down how payouts work (gift cards, game codes, Visa debit, Discord Nitro, etc.) and I’m honest about the earnings. In my testing, after about two hours I made roughly $0.05, and after a few more hours I was around $0.15—so yeah, it takes a long time. To me, Salad is mainly for people who are curious about crypto but don’t have the time, resources, or dedication to build a real mining setup.
