Welcome to another cozy camping adventure with me and Ted. In this episode I keep it super simple with my “no tent” setup—just the awning and a stretcher. Rain and possible storms were in the forecast, so I made sure to tie everything down properly and get the walls up before the weather hit. I really like this style of camping because it’s quick, easy, and perfect when you want to relax and just listen to the bush without wrestling with a full tent in the rain. I also tested something new for this hot, gloomy day: the EcoFlow WAVE 3 portable air conditioner. I honestly didn’t know what to expect because I’ve never had a portable AirCon before, but it cooled down the shelter fast and the app control was flawless and intuitive—just how I like it. Once the rain rolled in, I cooked dinner in the rain (one of my favorites), made “BibimPup” for Ted, and enjoyed my own bibimbap that Kelly prepared (check out “Spicy Hippo”). We finished the night with a cozy little fireplace setup and a gentle cool breeze, then woke up to a good rainy morning, coffee, and an easy breakfast—simple, calm, and exactly the kind of camping I love.
