About This Video

Thank you for joining me and Ted on our little adventure. This time I set up a GIANT double-story inflatable tent for a solo night overlooking the rainforest in Queensland, Australia. It was a hot summer day, so the first job was keeping Ted cool and hydrated—awning up for shade, his camping bed down, and a fan running so he could relax while I worked. Once the hardest part was done, I connected the pump and let it do its magic (and yes… I think I deserved a nice cold beer while it inflated). After that I positioned the Jeep right next to the tent to give us maximum shelter from the sun. Then I built the second story by setting up the platform, did a quick stress test (solid as rock), and anchored the tent so it won’t fly away. I took a proper sunset break with Ted, made an iced latte for a caffeine boost, and cooked dinner—Ted got freshly cooked beef with vegetables. I also discovered a cool little trick with the modular table: the gas cooker integrates into it, which makes the whole setup tidy and cozy. We ended the night with a campfire, and in the morning it was cloudy and gloomy with drizzle that you couldn’t really see on camera, so I packed up and walked you through the process a bit more in detail.
