Thanks for joining me and Ted for a proper rain camp. In this episode I’m testing a brand new huge inflatable luxury tent (Coody 13.6) and of course the weather decides to go heavy. I park the Jeep as close as I can, throw down the full carpet set made for this tent, and fit all the clear windows so I can sit inside dry and just watch the storm. The big front window looks straight onto a running creek—honestly it feels like a warm little house in the middle of nature, with the best rain-on-roof ASMR. Inside I set up my modular Naturehike table again (you might remember it from my beach video) and this time I add a gas stove attachment. Then it’s coffee time… and yes, I nearly blew up my new tent because there was dirt on the burner—don’t do that at home. For food, Kelly made us quick meals (one for me, one for His Majesty Ted), and I push it even further with a Korean BBQ vibe—wagyu, garlic, mushrooms, kimchi wrap, and some chestnut rice wine. After a cozy movie and a pale ale, I close off the sleeping section, sleep through the rain, wake up to more creek views, make breakfast, and pack everything down—easier than I expected thanks to the pump deflator.
