Car camping with Jeep Wrangler in Australia [ serene views, campfire food ] SoC ep12

Today's Camping Destination: Lyons in Queensland / Australia and we met a Camel! We put the Jeep Wrangler to the test with a little bit of offroading up the big hill. It is now winter in Australia, so the sunny weather is quite welcome. The nights get quite cold, but it is nice an toasty warm during the day. The sounds of the birds and crackling campfire was soothing and relaxing. It is very quite and peaceful. Brisbane City Skyline Views. Pros: - super close to Brisbane. Can't believe how close it is. - very isolated, only 2 camp groups on the whole gigantic property at a time. Could not see or hear anything from the other campers - Stunning, panormaic views right from the campsite - Garfunkel the Camel is absolutely amazing, curious, cuddly, loves carrots Cons: - not as much for us, but for some people it might be a con. To get to the campsite you need a little bit of offroading experience and halfway capable 4wd. Average suv won't cut it, or will make it very difficult.
