When most people picture homeschooling, they immediately think reading, writing, and math—and yes, we do those. But in this video I’m sharing my top “out of the box” homeschool subjects: the things I intentionally teach that are often overlooked, but make a huge difference in real life. I truly believe I’m not just raising good students—I’m raising future adults who can function well, treat people with respect, and contribute to their homes and communities. I walk through areas like life skills and home economics (chores, responsibility, basic skills they’ll actually use), character training and virtues (because character isn’t automatic), and manners (simple habits that help our kids navigate the world with confidence).
