About This Video

In this Thanksgiving Homeschool Plans 2025 video, I’m walking you through the simple, doable resources I’m using to bring Thanksgiving (and a whole lot of gratitude) into our homeschool during November. If you’ve been wanting something that feels special and seasonal without turning into a massive unit study you have to recover from, this is exactly how I approach it. I share the specific books we’re reading, a few hands-on gratitude ideas, and how I like to sprinkle holiday learning into our normal rhythm. I also talk through a couple of options depending on your kids and your schedule—because some years we can do more, and some years we need the “keep it moving” version. I’m using book-based learning (with a fun history angle), a free gratitude journal resource, and a Squilt Live theme for something different. Plus, I share a Teachers Pay Teachers companion guide if you want to turn one of the read-alouds into a more structured comprehension study. The goal is always the same: meaningful, memorable, and realistic for real-life homeschool moms.
