December is hands-down my favorite time of the homeschool year, and in this video I’m sharing exactly how I’m planning our Homeschool Christmas Plans for 2025. When we hit December, I intentionally set some of our regular schoolwork aside so we can lean into the season—without losing all structure. I walk you through the mix I’m using this year: Advent and Jesse Tree devotionals, assigned independent reading, cozy family read-alouds, and a few unit studies that keep learning light but still meaningful. I also share the specific resources I’m pulling from (and I link my past Christmas plans videos, because I know some of you like to compare year to year). If you’re craving a plan that feels festive but not chaotic, this is the rhythm: a simple devotional anchor, a short daily reading plan, and “fun school” options like Christmas-themed unit studies, discovery decks, and even a Christmas movie unit study. My goal is always the same—make room for wonder, keep our days doable, and create traditions my kids actually remember.
