About This Video

In this video, I’m walking you through my seventh grade homeschool curriculum picks for the 2024–2025 school year—and I still can’t believe I’m saying “seventh grader.” Time really does fly, and I wanted to share exactly what we’re using across the core subjects plus a few skill-builders and electives that fit our real-life routine. I cover what we’re using for world history (McGraw Hill), religion/catechesis (Faith and Life: Following Christ), and our Friday “skills and fun” mix with logic and writing. For ELA, I’m sharing our spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and writing plans—Spelling Workout Level G, Wordly Wise 3000 Grade 7, Fix It Grammar Level 4, and IEW Structure and Style Year 2 Level B. For science we’re using BJU Life Science, and for math we’re doing Saxon 8/7 with support from Nicole the Math Lady. I also mention a few extras that help our days run smoother like World Watch News at lunch, Typing.com, and a World Literature track through Redefining School, plus a Sunday Mass Reading Journal to support our faith life.
