Every year, right at the start of the season, I gather up Christmas clothes, books, games, and a few festive little surprises and put them into a box for each child. Honestly, it’s stuff I usually buy throughout December anyway—I just love bundling it all together as a “first present” to make the season feel official and get everyone excited. I walk you through what I put in our boxes this year, including cozy basics like pajamas and fuzzy socks, fun extras like color-changing cups and Christmas scrunchies, and a mix of activities (drawing books, sticker paint books, and games) that work great for quiet afternoons. I also share the Advent calendars we’re using this year—because I like having something simple and consistent that keeps the countdown fun without adding a ton of extra planning stress.
