Hi You Tube Friends! I am so excited to share this video with you all today. I do not often share much of my personal life outside of Homeschooling, but I felt the need, since it's the season of Love as we celebrate Valentine's Day this month, to share my life as a Homeschool Mom being the wife of a first responder. If you are someone who has a spouse that works outside of the home doing shift work, emergency and on call services, or travels frequently, and you are in the homeschool struggle, this video is for you. I share what I have learned and how our Homeschool works around my First Responder husband. I share my heart with all of you to offer encouragement that you do not have to live stressed out but that with my tips and tricks it can help being not only a supportive spouse but also not lose your sanity when so much is relying on you. About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a side of my life I don’t always put front and center—what it looks like to homeschool while being married to a first responder. Because it’s Valentine’s season, I wanted to pull back the curtain and talk about the real rhythms of loving someone who works shift work, gets called out, and isn’t always home on a predictable schedule. If your spouse is on nights, on call, travels, or works long stretches, I made this for you. I talk through what I’ve learned about building a homeschool that can flex without falling apart. For us, that means planning for the “normal” week but expecting interruptions, keeping routines simple, and not tying my peace to a perfect schedule. I also share encouragement for the spouse who is carrying a lot—because I’ve been there—and remind you that you don’t have to live stressed out. With a few practical systems and mindset shifts, you can support your spouse, keep your homeschool moving forward, and still protect your sanity when so much is relying on you.
