This vlog is basically my dream “work from home” day… except home is my van and my office is the Denmark, WA coastline. I start the morning at Madfish Bay just kind of sitting there like, “look at that… oh my god,” because it’s a constant reminder of why I live this life. I even got flashbacks to a similar little spot I found at Wilsons Prom in Victoria—same unreal water colour, same calm energy. I talk through why I pick quieter parking spots (even if there’s no toilet right there) and how quickly these places can get busy, even at 7am. Then I squeeze in a lunch-break adventure towards Waterfall Beach. This is the reality of working full-time on the road: your “exploring” often lands in the middle of the day, in the heat, which isn’t exactly ideal in Australia. I take a shady track, keep a serious eye out for snakes (and yep… had a moment where something slithered away right near my foot), and I get a bit carried away because I hadn’t been hiking in ages. I use my drone to check how much trail is left, decide to turn back, and finish with one clear priority: I need a swim.
