How do I do my laundry living van life? As a solo female van lifer in Australia, I can't just put it in a machine and use the old Hills Hoist to dry it, I need to find a laudromat that fits in with my needs whilst trying to keep costs down. I generally try to look for laundromats that are on a quieter street, have good online reviews, and take card payments if possible. It was really nice to chat with some of the locals at this spot in Tugun, they were so friendly and gave me some great tips on the area. It can be isolating sometimes when I'm in travel mode and working from my van, I was very grateful for the chin wag! I use eucalyptus oil as my washing detergent, my skin doesn't like fragranced detergents and I like to opt for more eco friendly products where possible.
