This one’s a chilled end-of-year live where I’m basically sitting here in a red dress (briefly with a Christmas hat… briefly) and chatting through what 2025 actually looked like for me. It’s been a year of being grounded way more than I wanted, lots of van renovations, and a whole lot of learning what works (and doesn’t) when I’m off-grid and sitting still. I talk about how going more off-grid has been a genuine game changer for my nervous system—more restful, more simple—and how rain, shade, and winter sun can really limit how long I can stay put. We also get into the real stuff: loneliness on the road, why I’m comfortable solo but still make sure I’m connected (locals, quick chats, FaceTime with my daughter, and honestly… nature feels like my company). I share some of my biggest highlights I nearly forgot—Japan (including meditation in a Buddhist temple), and then the big one: the whales, which was absolutely next level. And of course we talk 2026 plans: I’m itching to get back over east, debating the WA top end/NT, thinking about Uluru, and chasing the weather as always—because for me van life is about being outside, not locked up in the van trying to “endure” it.
