It is a thrilling adventure that leads you through the lush, tropical landscapes of Far North Queensland. My journey began with a scenic drive to Davies Creek Falls, a hidden gem about an hour from Cairns. The falls are nestled in the rugged beauty of the Atherton Tablelands, and after a short hike through eucalyptus forests, I reached the top of the falls. The view was breathtaking, with water cascading into a crystal-clear pool below, surrounded by towering granite boulders. Continuing along the Waterfall Circuit I made my way to the famous Millaa Millaa Falls, about an hour and a half further south. This iconic waterfall, framed by vibrant greenery, is often hailed as one of the most photogenic in Australia.
