A day in the life of a full-time van life traveler in Australia is a blend of freedom, adventure, and simplicity. After a quick morning routine—making and enjoying my morning cup of tea, I get my workstation set up and knock out a few hours of work. Usually during my lunch break I take a quick dip in the ocean or a stream, and eat my lunch. Sometimes I will change my location during the day, depending on weather and if I need to charge up my battery. If I get started early enough I finish early so that my afternoons can be for adventure or exercise—whether it’s snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, wandering through a rainforest, or simply finding a quiet spot to read or relax. As the day winds down, the evening is spent video editing, perhaps at a free campsite or a quiet spot by the ocean. After dinner, I may relax, socialise or plan the next leg of the journey.
