From camera performance and battery life to gaming, productivity, and overall durability, this is my honest review of the iPhone 17 Pro Max and whether it’s actually worth upgrading in 2026. As someone who creates short-form and long-form content regularly, I put this phone through real tests: filming reels, shooting YouTube videos, editing on the go, and using it for everyday tasks. Apple continues to refine its flagship lineup, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max brings noticeable improvements in performance, display quality, and pro-level camera features. But is it enough to justify the price? And is it better than previous Pro models? If you're considering upgrading from an older iPhone or deciding between the Pro and Pro Max models, this video will help you decide. About This Video

In this Part 2, I’m talking about my real experience daily-driving the iPhone 17 Pro Max as an Android user (coming from a Google Pixel 8), and the biggest reason I even bought it in the first place: the camera. I took it to CES with a whole bag of camera gear, and no surprise—this is Apple’s flagship—throughout the days I ended up using the phone most of the time because it was just easy, light, and quick to film whenever I needed to. That’s the peak example of how much you can rely on this camera system when you’re actually out working. I break down the camera specs and why the combo works so well for creator coverage: all 48MP cameras, with a 24mm f/1.8 main, 13mm f/2.2 ultrawide, and 100mm f/2.8 telephoto, plus an 18MP f/1.9 front camera. For video, I mainly use the Blackmagic Cam app because it unlocks pro controls like shooting log without needing an external SSD, plus ISO, shutter speed, and more. Add the stabilization and it honestly made me not reach for my camera most of the time—and the best part is it took weight off my camera bag, which matters a lot when the event is tiring and exhausting. I also talk about the display upgrade. Coming from the Pixel 8, the bigger screen took about a week to get used to, and now the Pixel feels small. The Super Retina XDR OLED looks vibrant, rich, color-accurate, and sharp, and the 100Hz refresh rate feels like the standard now.
