I’ve been using Edifier speakers for years (R1700BT, QR65, M60), and in this video I’m reviewing the Edifier M90—basically the bigger brother that’s designed as a multimedia speaker for desk setups and small living rooms. I go over the build and design first: compact footprint, minimal/modern look, MDF enclosure to help reduce unwanted vibration, plus a remote and the Edifier Connect app for EQ. Then I break down sound—100W total output gets seriously loud in my basement studio without me hitting distortion, and the 4-inch long-throw mid-bass driver + 1-inch silk dome tweeter gives you a frequency response from 50Hz to 40kHz. It’s high-res certified in wired and wireless modes, but I’m also clear that it’s not a studio monitor for pro mixing/mastering. Finally, I cover why the M90 works so well for a workflow setup: tons of inputs (including HDMI, which is rare), quick switching with the remote, solid bass for the size, and no noticeable Bluetooth delay for normal use or even video editing. If you want room-shaking bass, you’ll still want a sub, but as an all-around desk speaker, the M90 checks a lot of boxes for me.
