Lately I’ve been struggling to come up with new ideas for both long-form and short-form content, and I realized a big part of it was my environment. I start my days around 8:00 a.m. answering emails and planning scripts, but I kept losing focus—and honestly, my studio being a mess didn’t help. In this video, I walk you through the current state of my space (multiple desks, renovation tools, random gear everywhere) and why that “clear space equals clear mind” saying actually hits. I was having those days where eight hours pass and I’ve only done one thing, and it kind of sucked. So I decluttered fast—threw out boxes I didn’t need, put away things I don’t use, and started organizing. I also called myself out for having GAS (gear acquisition syndrome): I was accumulating bags, lenses, tripods, sliders, desk shelves, microphones—my studio was starting to feel like a collection store. I disassembled the extra dark-themed desk setup (because I can’t decide between light or dark) and moved more gear into bins, and I even started selling stuff so it gets used instead of collecting dust. My biggest takeaway: restart the studio and build it up slowly, intentionally. I’m planning the layout using an app (I went with My Dream Setup) and creating sections—main workstation, tools/prep, B-roll/product shots, hidden storage, and a chill/gaming zone—so the space stays functional, minimal, and actually inspires me to create.
