This is my new main PC for both gaming and productivity, built specifically for the way I work: photo + 4K video editing, plus a few games on the side when I need to reset. In this video I walk you through the full ITX build inside the NCASE M2, using AMD’s Ryzen 9950X3D cooled by a 240mm NZXT Kraken, 64GB DDR5 6000 CL30, and dual 4TB Samsung 990 Pro drives to keep everything fast and local. The big “why” of this build is the GPU: I used the Asus ROG Astral RTX 5080, and I mounted it in a traditional orientation—something that’s honestly almost impossible in this case without modifications. I show the trial-and-error, the frustration, and the very real risk of cutting both the case and parts of the GPU shroud just to make it fit correctly without sag. I also explain why I didn’t go RTX 5090 (Canada pricing is wild), why GPU supports and an angled power adapter are basically required here, and what fan choices actually worked (and what didn’t). Finally, I share thermals/benchmarks and my honest take on top slim fans: they fit, but I removed mine because of noise and the visible screws.
