In this spoken word piece, “CRUCIFIXION,” I’m giving you the realest truth you ever heard: we’ll never fully know how much Jesus really took. I walk through the cross with plain, uncut detail—Jesus hung between two crooks, and it should’ve been us, but He took our place. He became our sin, and for that brief moment the Father turned His face. That’s the atonement—what the Old Testament sacrifices couldn’t fulfill—sin demolished in His flesh on top of Calvary’s hill. I talk about the pain He chose to endure: the nails in His wrists and feet, the struggle to breathe, the 39 lashes from the cat of nine tails, the crown of thorns, the humiliation, and the agony we can’t imagine. And the takeaway is simple but heavy—this is true love: laying down His life to become my curse. His death wasn’t the ending; it was the beginning. When that soldier pierced His side and blood and water came out, it sealed the New Testament, and on the third day the angel told Mary the words that change everything: “He has risen.”
