About This Video

Would you look at that? I’m back out in the woods and I’ve got a new radio that’s going to stir the pot a bit: the Jumper T15 Pro. It’s an obvious competitor to my daily driver, the RadioMaster TX15, and the big question is why this one can hit that ~$300 price point. The short version? Yes and no—it’s got some stuff I really like, and a couple things I straight up don’t. The biggest reason to look at the T15 Pro is the gimbals. This version has the FPG (full precision) gimbals with premium bearings, and side-by-side they feel lighter, smoother, and more precise than the TX15’s stock gimbals. If you’re the guy who wants fine control for FPV freestyle or super smooth cinematic flying, this is the kind of upgrade you’ll actually feel. I also like the EdgeTX setup on here—menus feel a bit better to me than what I’m running on the TX15. But I’m not a fan of the single kickstand angle, and it gets in the way of the battery door. The 5-in-1 button cluster isn’t labeled, and the right wheel feels a bit slow/tight. Still, you get top DIY antenna expansion ports (TX15 doesn’t), an H7 processor, a DFU button, swappable faceplates, and it’s FCC approved—so for US pilots, that’s solid news.
