In this stream I’m counting down beat #86 and beat #87 out of my 100-beat run, and I’m just in the pocket—talking to y’all while I cook. I start off thinking “easy rap beat,” warming up on the piano like I used to back in the basement, then I mess with a plugin that loves to spawn some weird stuff. The whole vibe is real-time beatmaking: testing sounds, finding a direction, and letting the chat energy push the session forward. Somewhere in the middle I pivot into chill house (four-on-the-floor) because I haven’t done enough of it in this challenge and I’m trying to switch it up. I also talk about the realities of being a creator—how visuals make people actually stop and listen, and why I’m learning new video techniques instead of relying on the shallow “look at me” internet stuff. On the technical side, you’ll see me troubleshoot live: mic gain/compression, wireless headphones dying, a loose power strip causing issues, and even catching a stereo problem just by listening. By the end, we’re down to 13 left, and I’m coming back tomorrow—no “we gonna try,” I’m doing it.
