About This Video

In this video I’m reacting to Dora — a no-code website builder that can produce legit Three.js / WebGL-style 3D, scroll animations, and interactive portfolio experiences without writing a single line of code. What got me extra hyped is that Mr. Doob (the creator of Three.js) even tweeted about it, which makes Dora feel way more “real” than the usual flashy builder demos. So I pulled up a bunch of examples and just scrolled through them to see how far the complexity can go. We look at parallax scroll scenes with multiple depth layers, 3D model imports (drag-and-drop), and some insanely smooth on-scroll product-style pages with iPads and iPhones snapping into place, rotating, and transitioning like a full production build. A big takeaway for me is that the “spice” comes from combining scroll-driven timelines with good creative direction — the tool makes the technical side easier, but the best results still come from someone making smart design choices. I also show what the Dora editor looks like: very Figma-like, with layers, properties, and a timeline where you set keyframes and preview across devices. And at the end, I touch on Dora AI, which can generate a 3D site from a prompt (they ranked top on Product Hunt for it). I’m honestly impressed, and I want to try building a full portfolio in it next.
