About This Video

In this fast tutorial I show you how I’m using Midjourney to create insanely inspiring web design prototypes—like, AI web design is definitely the future and it’s so awesome. I start from zero: you click the Midjourney beta link, jump into the Discord server, and generate images using the built-in /imagine command. The big takeaway is simple: the more specific your prompt is, the better the results, and you can push the final look a lot with a few key parameters. I break down the main commands I actually use: --ar for aspect ratio, --q for quality (1 to 4), --no for negative prompting, --chaos for how random/varied the results are, and --v to pick the algorithm version. Midjourney gives you four options every time, and you can upscale or create variations—plus the beta upscale redo for extra detail and high resolution. Then I show real examples of prompts I ran, and how even short prompts can produce layouts, color schemes, and UI/UX inspiration that’s honestly impressive. To finish, I take a favorite generated design, try generating a logo based on my “DNF / Developer Filip” letters, and quickly play with it in Photoshop and Figma to mock up a simple design. For a couple of minutes of work, the outcome is really good—AI just does the job in a way that’s hard to match, even if you’re creative.
