Steady Routine between Wash Days | Curly Cami Channel

41 views· 3 likes· 3:03· Jan 26, 2026

Wash days are tedious from the start and refreshing by the end due to detangling and ensuring clean scalp while styling my hair enough before it tangles and creates frizz. I want to maintain the health of my hair and find a steady routine between washes. The application of oils could clog and/or build up that will require frequent washing. I plan on washing every three days. I hope this works. About This Video

In this video, I’m sharing what my “steady routine between wash days” looks like, because wash days are honestly tedious at the start (detangling, making sure my scalp is clean) but so refreshing by the end. I’m trying to keep my curls healthy and find something consistent that helps me make it to the next wash without my hair tangling up and turning into frizz. My goal right now is washing every three days, because I’m also thinking about how oils can clog or build up and then force you to wash more often. The day after wash day, I keep it pretty simple: after my leave-in and my hairspray (that’s my last styling product), I use a serum on my ends first. Then I go in with a root enhancer mainly in the front section—except mine stopped spraying, so I had to pour it into my hand and apply it that way. Once it was empty, I added castor oil (it’s sticky), and I use a cotton Q-tip to apply it around my hairline just to see what happens. I sleep in a bonnet, refresh for hydration in the morning, and I always clean up—because some products can make the floor slippery and even get on my camera lens. Embrace joy.
