In this video I’m doing a little “nearly finished” check-in with my hair and skin products, because I really try to use up what I buy (or get gifted) so I’m not wasting anything. It’s Valentine’s Day week, and while I’m thinking about scary movies and maybe a date, I’m also looking at what’s almost empty in my routine—starting with a toner that’s basically done. I’m moving it into a spray bottle because why not, but honestly I don’t see myself repurchasing toners anytime soon since I’m not consistent with them. I mainly remember toner only after I’ve already added water to my face. I also show how I stretch my serums and leave-in products by opening packaging and transferring what’s left into smaller containers. I even pop out the little inner contraption (that controls how much serum comes out) so I can get closer to the product and finish it fully. On the hair side, my leave-in conditioner is at that point where the pump won’t work anymore, which is my sign to cut it open and save every last bit—especially for wash day. And for body care, I share a Christmas gift that has me smelling like a sugar cookie, and I’m loving the body scrub even though I haven’t touched the soap bar yet. As always: embrace joy.
