About This Video

In Part 9 of my 2025 recap/review, I’m basically walking you through real life moments and what my skin was doing in the middle of it—because in Arizona dryness, my skin always has something to say. I talk about two ā€œlifesaverā€ products I fully used up when my skin was dealing with dryness, but I also had to learn (again) that even the best stuff can be too aggressive if I’m heavy-handed. Vaseline is amazing for me, but if I overdo it, it’s a lot—so sparingly is necessary. I also mention an exfoliating product I picked up from HMart, and how it felt too aggressive, especially paired with a salt scrub, so I’m rethinking how I exfoliate. I also show my skin in real time: a pimple that slowly grows, hardens, and finally comes off, plus the redness and rough texture that can get painful to touch when my barrier is irritated. I talk about nails being a luxury but also a villain for irritated skin (so I clipped them), and I’m honest about how the ā€œitchā€ can be intoxicating—then you pay for it when you’re not consistent. Between little lifestyle clips (movies, waterfalls that smell disgusting, a birthday outfit, a wrist injury/bruise, and a full moon moment), the takeaway is simple: consistency and a gentle hand matter if I want my skin to stay hydrated and calm.
