In Part 4 of my 2025 recap/review, I’m keeping it real: this stretch of the year wasn’t a happy time for me mentally. I was doing the bare minimum, and I even contemplated not making videos anymore and deleting my channel altogether. Looking back at the clips, I can see how I was trying to make a “passable” smile, and I also felt like my hair was going through it right along with me—more wavy than curly, like it was expressing what I wasn’t saying out loud. I also share random little life moments and notes, like movies I loved (and opinions I’m not changing), plus a quick blood warning from when I hurt my knuckles. For that, I’m all about soap and water (no peroxide), then Vaseline or an oil to keep it protected while it heals. I also mention some skin issues I had going on—those little spots that aren’t pimples, more like a topical dermatitis situation—and I talk hair routines too: double cleansing, sectioning to style, and how my Paul Mitchell serum + gel combo did well for me… with some very specific limits. Even when it’s not perfect, I’m still here, and as always: embrace joy.
