Wagyu Chuck Eyes on the SNS Kettle!

Cooked some poor man ribeyes on the Slow ’N Sear Kettle! Not so poor man, these were Wagyu Chuck Eyes from Hassell Cattle Company! Beautifully Marbled and super tender. Front sear all of the way! • Started with two nice Wagyu chuck eye steaks from Hassell Cattle Company. • Seasoned with Kosher salt only about 3 hours in advance. • Set up the SNS Kettle direct cooking since these were thinner steaks. • Lit the charcoal in the Slow ‘N Sear to get hot for searing. • Placed the two chuck eyes on the grates and started searing. • Seared for 1 minute each side 3 times before pulling them to rest. • Total cook time was between 5 and 6 minutes Summary: You can’t go wrong with the steaks we have got from Hassell Cattle Company.
