Pat LaFrieda Filets! SNS Home ’N Roam Travel Kettle!

Treated ourselves to some amazing Filets from Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors. The Slow ’N Sear Home and Roam Grill did the job for a perfect steak! • Started with two nice prime cut filets from Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors. https://www.lafrieda.com • Salt brined the filets and put in refrigerator for 24 hours. • Set up the SNS Travel Kettle Grill direct and indirect cooking. • Lit the charcoal in the basket and let the grill come up for the indirect side. • When they reached 90F we flipped them and pulled them off once they hit 120F. • They each rose to about 127F and once they started to go back down we did the searing. • Seared for 1 minute a side on each side and then did just 30 seconds per side. • Final temps finished at 130F+. • We had 2 perfectly cooked filets! Summary: The Filets turned out perfect! The Slow and Sear Home and Rome Grill worked perfectly and would do these exactly the same next time.
