Tomahawks on the Slow ‘N Sear Grills Kettle! Perfect Medium Rare Steaks! Not Just for Beef rub!

Officially broke in the SNS Kettle with our traditional Tomahawk Steak Cook! Salt brined and used Not Just for Beef rub! • Started with two 40 oz Tomahawk Ribeyes, Prime Cut. • Salt brined on all sides of the Tomahawks and put in refrigerator for 24 hours. • Before the cook, I coated them with SNS Grills “Not Just for Beef”. • Set up the Slow ‘N Sear Kettle direct and indirect cooking. • Lit the charcoal in the SNS Kettle to hold around 300 degrees. • Placed the two tomahawks on the indirect side until they reached about 75 degrees and then turned them over to promote even cooking until 112. • Let the grill get nice and hot and started the sear. • Seared for 1 minute each side 2 times and removed them. • Let them rest for about 10 to 15 minutes before cutting into them. Summary: Prime Tomahawk Rib Eyes turned out perfect!
