Made a huge ham steak on the Slow ‘N Sear Kettle! Family favorite meal growing up! • Started with a very thick ham steak from our local butcher, it was about 1-1/2 “ to 2” thick. • Set up the SNS Kettle with the Slow ‘N Sear insert, and put the ham steak on the indirect side when the temp was about 375. • Once it got close to 110 degrees, I flipped the ham steak to promote even cooking. • Cooked it indirect for about 45 min until the temp reached about 138 degrees. • Moved to the direct side and did 1 minute each side and then 30 seconds each side until I like the color, and pulled it off.
