ProTemp 2 Plus Probes! Tomahawks!

1st time for us to show off the new ProTemp 2 Plus wireless probes. Of course cooked 2 beautiful tomahawks to show off a new product! Nothing better than to have a wireless probe that can stay in the meat from start to final resting as it can handle the 1000F searing! As always the SNS MasterKettle is perfect for every cook! Working along with the S1 and the Breezo Fan you can control your entire cook from grill lighting to final sear! • Probe Specs: • Probes: 1 probe included, 2 optional probes • Probe Waterproof Level: IP68 • Probe Size: 4.92×1.10×0.17 inch (125×28×4.55 mm) • Diameter: 0.17 inch (4.55mm) • Accuracy: ±0.9°F (±0.5°C) • Probe Temp Range: 0 °C - 105 °C (32 °F -220°F) Withstands up to 221°F • Ambient Temp Range: 50°C -530°C (32°F -1000°F) Withstands up to 1000°F (530°C) • Material: 316-grade stainless steel • The Cook! • We used 2 beautiful tomahawks from Costco. • Seasoned with kosher salt 24 hours in advance. • Use the S1 and Breezo to set up the SNS MaterKettle for cooking them indirectly with the grill temp at 250F. • Inserted the probes as shown. • Put the steaks on and when we got to 80F we flipped them for even cooking and at 115F we pulled them off while we got the grill hot for searing. • Changed the settings for the S1 high heat and within minutes the S1 and Breezo had the temp rise to my set temp of 400F +. • Seared on each side for 1 minute per side two times each. • Let them rest and enjoyed a great dinner! Summary: ChefsTemp if ahead of the grilling game with the thinnest wireless high temp probes that work with the S1 and Breezo Fan. Connected very easily and worked great.
