PICANHA! Slow ’N Sear Travel Kettle! Must Try!

We show how we cooked these Picanha steaks from Costco and sear the fat in the Forever Pan. If you love good steak, keep watching! • Started with a nice Picanha from Costco and sliced into steaks. • Trimmed some fat and kept a nice ¼” layer of fat cap. • Seasoned with Salt only for about 3 hours in advance. • Was shooting for a grill temp of 250F degrees using the Slow ‘N Sear attachment and cooking them indirectly. • Once it got close to 70F degrees on the Meater+, we checked it to see how it looked. • When it got to about 100F we pulled them off. • Set up the Forever pan directly over the heat to sear the fat and then once the fat looked good, we seared directly over the fire. • Let them rest and enjoyed! Summary: The Slow ‘N Sear Travel Kettle is very impressive. These choice picanha steaks from Costco were extremely tender and juicy! Only thing I would change is possibly searing them in the pan the entire time!
