Today I did a triple unboxing and comparison of three ultra-budget Fifine AmpliGame headsets: the H6, H9, and H13. I went through what you actually get in the box, how they fit, and the stuff that matters day-to-day—controls, connection options, and whether the “7.1” virtual surround implementation is convenient or just annoying. The H6 is super lightweight and comfy, but it’s USB-A only, which is a love/hate thing depending on your setup. It does bring RGB (because of course), but the control labeling and that mute-light-on-the-mic situation is… not my favorite. The H9 surprised me the most because it’s cheaper, yet more flexible: it can run as a normal audio jack headset, or you can add the USB control panel for virtual surround and clearer, properly labeled controls. Comfort is a little weird for me though—like the cups don’t clamp in as naturally. The H13 looks the nicest (and yes, I’m a fan of the purple accents), adds preset EQ modes and a noise-cancelling mic mode, but it’s heavier and also locks you into USB-A only. Overall, sound quality across all three is broadly similar for gaming, but if you want the best “budget value with sane usability,” I’d pick the H9.
