The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz is a stunning little keyboard, but can such a little keyboard cost so much? About This Video

I’m pretty much a full-size keyboard supremacist at this point, but Razer keeps trying to convert me—so in this video I unbox and mess around with the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL (Tenkeyless) with an 8K polling rate. Packaging is classic Razer: minimalist, straight to the point. The first thing I noticed is how ridiculously light it is, which actually makes it a solid “throw it in your bag” option if you travel or just want a compact setup. I also didn’t expect a wrist rest in the box… until I felt it. It’s not cushiony—this thing is basically a hard slab. From there I talk about what makes this keyboard “pro”: analog optical switches with adjustable actuation from 0.1mm to 4mm, plus features like rapid trigger and snap tap inside Razer Synapse (or “Signaps,” if you’re in the UK mood). The customization is cool but honestly overwhelming, and I’m the kind of person who worries I’m not using the optimal settings—so I really appreciate the ability to import profiles, even if I want more official ones from Razer. Then we get to the spicy part: the price. $220 for a keyboard with no numpad is wild, and it’s also not wireless, which stings at this price. It looks great, feels polished, and the RGB (even on the dial) is a nice touch—but for most people, it’s hard to justify unless you’re a serious competitive player or you specifically want a premium compact board.
