The Lian Li RS is a rather unique PSU, so unique in fact that it's the first power supply video on here in ages! So is this what your gaming PC needs? About This Video

I don’t usually bother covering power supplies here because, let’s be real, PSUs are typically boring. But the Lian Li RS showed up with an actually interesting idea: you can shift the orientation of the wall plug and adjust how the cables exit the unit. Lian Li even puts a little window in the box to flex the feature, and once you unbox it you’ll see why—there are two possible motherboard power locations, plus panels to cover the unused side so you’re not inviting dust in through an extra opening. The other weird-but-kinda-cool part is the internal USB hub that sticks onto the front of the PSU. You run one USB cable to your motherboard and suddenly you’ve got more room for all the accessories that keep demanding internal USB these days. Lian Li even includes an internal-to-external USB option with a PCIe bracket, which I think is pretty silly for most builds, but hey—if you truly can’t route it internally, it’s there. Pricing lands around $145 for a black 1000W without the hub up to about $170 for a 1200W with it (white costs $5 more), and it’s still only 80 Plus Gold. Still, I’m just happy there’s some actual innovation in the PSU space for once.
