The Der8enchtable is a PC testing and benchmarking platform unlike anything you have ever seen. It's probably one of the most niche products I've ever covered, which is both a good and bad thing in its case Thanks so much to Gavin Burns, Justen Rage (+ Super Member), Ela Wroniak, and Bartosz Welke (+ Super Member), for supporting the channel on Patreon and YouTube! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💳Buy it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3PGMwMi -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🥚Use our Newegg link for any upcoming purchases you have: https://newegg.io/nc36050ca6 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💰Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/avrona -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💬Join our Discord: https://discord.gg/bqjYm9Y -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐦Follow and interact with us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/avronaofficial ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📸Follow and interact with us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/avronaofficial ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👕Check out our merch: https://avrona-merch.creator-spring.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #tech #unboxing #techreview #review #technology

About This Video

I desperately needed a new bench table after my old AliExpress one literally fell apart, and my 3D-printed attempt didn’t last either. So in this video I unbox and build Thermal Grizzly’s der8enchtable (made with der8auer), which is easily one of the most niche PC testing products I’ve covered. The big “why” here is that this isn’t just a slab of metal—there’s a PCB built in with SATA, USB, PWM fan headers, and front-panel style controls, all meant to make benchmarking and motherboard swapping way faster. Putting it together took me about 8 minutes, but the experience isn’t as premium as the price suggests. The screw/Allen key baggies aren’t labeled, the hardware can spill and mix, and the left/right legs plus their orientation could’ve been made way clearer. I also wish there was any kind of storage on the table for spare screws, and the fan/radiator mount system feels unnecessarily fiddly since you have to fully unscrew it to switch positions. Once it’s powered via a 16-pin PCIe cable, the whole acrylic strip lights up and you get that sleek-but-cool bench vibe. At almost $322, it’s absolutely “only for the biggest tech nerds,” but if you swap parts constantly (or your job pays for it), it can save a ton of time. For me, it’s becoming a permanent part of my benchmarking setup going forward.
