We’ve been teased with the Be Quiet Dark Perk Ergo for way too long — I saw it at Computex, then again at CES, and now I finally got one in to unbox and check out. First impression: it looks incredible, but also… kind of basic from most angles. I wouldn’t call it boring, but if it wasn’t for those sharp “gaming” edges up top, you could mistake it for a really premium office mouse. Shape-wise it actually reminds me a lot of the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro, and that’s a compliment because I love how that mouse feels in-hand. In the box, you get the usual instructions, replacement feet, and a really nice orange braided Type-C to Type-A cable. Since it’s wireless, you also get a dongle plus a neat adapter/extension that has a grippy bottom so it doesn’t slide around on your desk — small detail, but I appreciate that stuff. The mouse is very light at 55g (they even cut material out of the base), which isn’t my personal preference, but it’ll be a win for a lot of people. You’re also not getting much RGB beyond a small status light, and at $110 it’s not cheap — especially considering the missing extras like more top buttons, a “free scroll wheel” button, and side grips. If you want minimalist Be Quiet vibes and solid clicks without the flash, that’s basically the pitch here.
