About This Video

Happy Friday — this week (and honestly the last couple weeks) at work have been pretty hectic, so I really needed a reset weekend. In this vlog I’m basically trying to get my life together again: cleaning up the house and my home office, getting back into a routine, and making the space feel more usable for filming. I also properly introduce myself for once — I’m Andy, 27, born and raised in Melbourne, and I’ve been documenting life lately while I try to keep things fun (and productive). The main “game changer” this weekend was my new 3D printer, the Bambu P1S + AMS combo. It’s not my first printer (I had the Bambu A1 before), but I didn’t love how much space the A1 + AMS Lite took up, so I grabbed the P1S when it went on sale for EOFY. Setup was ridiculously easy (like 10 minutes), and I immediately started printing practical stuff: a pen organizer, a custom remote holder for the ducted heating, a bracket fix for my dog gate, and wall mounts to declutter bulky camera gear like light stands. I also talk about how open the 3D printing community is — you can find files online, tweak them to fit your needs, and basically turn random ideas into real things, which is still kind of crazy to me.
