About This Video

Hello hello — it’s October now, springtime in Melbourne, and September was honestly pretty hectic for me, so I wanted to do a proper life catch-up. I’m starting in my backyard just soaking in the sun (days are getting longer and it’s setting around 7:30 which is amazing because I’m not really a morning person). Also… the garden is thriving, including a lot of weeds, so I might actually do a gardening vlog at some point. A couple of big updates: I got my hair permed again (I usually do it every six months-ish because I know it can be damaging if you overdo it). Growing up I had really straight, thin hair and it was always a pain point, so perming has been a nice little aesthetic upgrade for me. I also played a two-day mixed volleyball tournament at Marunda (Div 2) — I love volleyball, it’s my sport, and it’s genuinely one of the best ways I’ve stayed fit and kept up with my closest friends. We just missed semis (came third in our pool), but we did better than last year, so I’ll take it. To wrap it up, I had my mate Dylan over for dinner and made ramen — shio ramen this time (first attempt), even though I normally make tonkotsu. And yes… I’m going to Japan again later this year, doing a few solo days first before meeting the boys for the main cities. YOLO, my wallet hates me, but I’d rather spend money on memories while I’m in my 20s.
