What a cozyyyy and vibey home. So much wood everywhere, giving that warm and "tucked in" feeling. Hakone was a nice getaway from the bustling streets of Japan, so definitely come here if you get a chance! About This Video

We’ve been in Hakone for the past few days, staying in this super cozy cabin lodge Airbnb, and in this video I take you through the whole place—room by room. The first thing you notice is the wood everywhere: walls, ceilings, floors… it gives that warm, tucked-in cabin feeling straight away. I show the genkan entry area, the fireplace (we didn’t use it since it’s still autumn), and then the kitchen where Victor’s making ramen—honestly pretty spacious for Japanese standards, with induction cooktops, a massive sink, and heaps of amenities. From there, I walk through the dining setup with a long table and a big projector, plus the outdoor area that’s insanely vibey at night when you get the grill going—S tier comfort. The cabin has two proper bedrooms (one downstairs, one upstairs), plus an extra bed nook and a mini balcony that’s perfect for a quiet morning coffee. One heads-up though: because Hakone’s a hot spring area, it can smell like sulfur at night… like, yeah, it smells like fart and there’s not much you can do about it. I also quickly cover the bathroom at the end—private onsen with natural spring water on demand, two taps (super clutch with a group), and a laundry machine which is a must while traveling. It’s a bit pricey, but splitting it with friends or family makes it a really solid getaway from Tokyo/Osaka.
