Happy December besties—this video is basically a month-in-my-life visual diary in NYC, with all the real behind-the-scenes of being a beauty/lifestyle creator. I’m juggling a last-minute campaign (yes, the tripod got left behind… of course), filming my makeup content setup, and giving you little mini check-ins on what I’m using and how I’m getting through deadlines with my ADHD brain. I also take you with me to a Topicals brand event that was a pole dancing class for their new mint lip balm launch, and I’m not gonna lie—it was so fun and it really forced me out of my comfort zone in the best way. I also do the things that keep me feeling like me: maintenance days (brows, lashes, nails), hair moments (holding onto a wash-and-go for dear life, then washing/blow drying/flat ironing and being scared the whole time), plus nights out and a birthday dinner. And then… the biggest life update: I got engaged. He surprised me, it was perfect, and I woke up a fiancée with the exact kind of ring I wanted because he actually listened. On top of that, I had a brand meeting with NARS that genuinely had me like “wait… this is real,” especially seeing how few Black girls were in the mix. Overall: soft life, NYC chaos, creator growth, and big main-character energy to close out the year.
