About This Video

In this video I’m finally sitting down and showing you my detailed, easy everyday makeup routine on dark skin—specifically for my combination skin girls and my neutral undertone babes. I’ve always loved watching makeup routines on YouTube (not even full tutorials, just routines), and now it’s my turn. I’m not a makeup guru, but I’m not terrible either, and I’m sharing exactly what I do to get that soft, natural “still look like me” finish. I start with skin prep and primer (I let everything “marinate” between steps because it really helps products sit better), then I go into my base. I’m a foundation girl forever—concealer-only is for the girls with perfect skin and that’s not me because I’m covering dark spots, period. I show you my shade matching, how I blend with my Sephora brushes and a beauty blender, and how I place blush in a way that actually lifts my face. I also get into my simple brow routine (because I’m not doing anything complicated), soft contour for extra oomph, pressed powder first, bronzer to bring warmth back, and a nudey lip combo that always eats. Final touches: setting spray, blending away harsh lines, and adding my beauty marks back.
