In this solo diaries NYC vlog, I really leaned into what I’ve been craving lately: being by myself on purpose. I’m not lonely—this is my choice. I took myself on a solo date and pushed myself to actually talk to the camera in public (because my vlogs cannot all be silent vlogs, okay). First stop was The Lip Lab in Brooklyn (Williamsburg) where I literally created my own custom lipstick shades—like a nudish pink moment—and it was so cute and such a main-character activity. After that, I tried Cava for the first time because the girls have been talking, and I had to see for myself. And yeah… Cava ate. From there, I headed into Manhattan for a little shopping day around Times Square—Forever 21, some try-ons, and me touching everything with no intention of buying… until I bought something anyway. I also popped into Ulta because I needed a brush, but my social battery was running out, so I wrapped the day up and headed home. The biggest takeaway: romanticizing your alone time makes you more confident, more social, and way less dependent on waiting for people to live your life.
